Sri Andalakkum Aiyan temple is built in Dravidian Architecture style. The temple has a small shrine with Vimanam. This temple has a three-tiered structured gopuram(temple tower).Perumal blesses the devotees in a reclining posture. The deities being carved out of Salagramam stone is a speciality here. The Vimana above the sanctum is called Pranava Vimanam. The temple is in between Cauvery and Kollidam rivers. The Lord has a Marakkal (a measuring tol) under His head, Olai Chuvadi (palm leaf) and an Ezhuthaani (writing instrument) in His left hand.
